She has stepped up her game style since joining the jury, rather than promoting her own film at this year's Cannes Film Festival .

And Kristen Stewart, 28, enticed the eyes of the onlookers on arrival at Everybody's Knows premiere where she out shone a whole galaxy of stars on Tuesday.

The twilight star made her grand entrance in her ribbon embellished ballgown inside the venue, wagging her finger and with a coy smile on her face.

Ribbon pleat embellishments and a cinched belt at the waist highlighted on the star's astonishing shape.


The Snow White And The Huntsman leading lady intensified her features with dark brushes make up for a smokey eye effect.

Every inch the fierce feline, the actress pinned a diamond Lion brooch just beneath the demure neckline of her gown.

Kristen skipped the MET Gala this year as she tread boards at the A-list Cannes film festival in the French Riviera.

Usually on the red carpet to promote her own movie, the Twilight star is now using her experience as part of the festival's jury to decide the feature film winner this year.

Everybody Knows follows the story of Spanish Laura, played by Penelope Cruz, a woman living in Buenos Aires, who comes back to her hometown outside of Madrid, played by Ricardo Darín, and their children.


An unexpected turn of events sees the trip turn on its side an unleash a host of secrets. Javier Bardem plays Paco in the movie.

While Everybody Knows is opening the festival, much of the drama at this year's festival is in fact happening off screen.

After two Netflix films played in competition as last year's Cannes festival - prompting protests from French exhibitors - the Cannes board of directors ruled that a film in competition at Cannes must have French distribution.

French law prevents a film that plays in theaters to appear on streaming services for three years.


Faced with only showing its films out of competition, Netflix with its films from Cannes. Several Netflix titles, including Alfonso Cuaron's Roma and the recently completed Orson Welles movie "The Other Side of the Wind, had been expected to premiere this year.
