Despite being the daughter of Lionel Richie and younger sister of Nicole Richie, she's managed to break out and make a name for herself as a highly sought-after model.

And Sofia Richie showed just why she's one of the industry's coveted new stars over the weekend, when she stepped out in head-turning style during a shopping outing with fellow model Lottie Moss in West Hollywood.

The 19-year-old beauty displayed her rock hard abs in a pink crop top as she posed up a storm outside trendy Melrose Avenue fashion store Fred Segal alongside Lottie, 20, who also showed off her taut tummy in a rollneck crop top.

Sofia   teamed her barely-there top with a pair of high-waisted, faded ripped jeans and a billowing white shirt, which she left unbuttoned, allowing her to show her abs.

With her brunette tresses resting about her shoulders in relaxed waves with a centre-parting, she kept her look light and natural with minimal makeup.

Toting a white leather handbag, she posed outside the iconic fashion establishment with British beauty Lottie, who paired her own top with denim Daisy Dukes.

Lottie, younger sister of supermodel Kate Moss, wore her long curly mane down, while long bands slightly obscured her increasingly recognisable face.

Sofia was recently the recipient of stinging shade from Kendall Jenner, after the 22-year-old model commented on a shot of her with her 34-year-old beau Scott Disick.

After Sofia was pictured for the first time with the children that Scott shares with his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, the reality star's half-sister Kendall let her feelings be known when a Scott fan Instagram account posted one of the snaps.

'Awww Scott and his kids,' she wryly commented on the shot, which prompted her fans to light up the comments section, declaring her both 'The Shady Queen' and 'The Savage Queen'.

However, many were just as quick to point out all the other sizeable age gaps in the Kardashian clan's various relationships.

'Let me remind you your momma is dating a 33-year-old man,' one pointed out, while another stated: 'Lol but when Kylie [Jenner] was with Tyga there wasn't a peep from you,' added another.

'That's a boyfriend who's mum is dating a man 30 years younger and then who's sister is dating someone with the same age gap as Scott & Sofia (Kourtney and her boyfriend) years old, 'a third threw in.' Sorry Kenny but you're not one to talk ... '

'But Sofia is an ADULT, your sister was not one while dating Tyga, I bet it feels good being hypocritical,' a fourth commented.

Scott and Sofia went public with their romance in September, although they were linked as far back as May.

But this month was the first time the teenager was pictured out with Mason, eight, Penelope, five, and Reign, three - two of her she is closer than she is to their father.
