Bagging some rays! Shirtless Justin Bieber relaxes in Mexico on New Year's Eve... as girlfriend Selena Gomez parties with galpals at same resort

It's been quite a year for Justin Bieber, who went out on the road for 154 shows before canceling his Purpose World Tour and then rekindled his romance with Selena Gomez.

So it's perhaps not surprising that the Canadian pop star was snapped snoozing shirtless in the sun while on vacation in Mexico on New Year's Eve.

The Biebs was likely catching up on some shut eye ahead of welcoming in 2018 in the resort of Cabo San Lucas.

The 23-year-old relaxed in a wooden lounge chair with his laptop open in front of him on a footstool.

His well-inked torso and legs were on full display as he wore just a pair of hot pink shorts.

After finishing his work on his computer, he donned a natty Panama hat as he headed off to join pals.

Not seen with him was Selena who is also in Cabo where she's been photographed splashing in the ocean with some girlfriends.

Justin and Selena got back together after the Texan actress and singer revealed she had undergone a kidney transplant due to complications of Lupus disease.

They have been virtually inseparable since going public with their renewed relationship in early November.

The 25-year-old former Disney starlet looked sensational as she rounded off the year frolicking in the glistening waters wearing a chic, plunging black swimsuit.

She was seen in a fun-filled snap with her pals Raquelle Stevens, Courtney Barry and Ashley Cook that Stevens shared to Instagram.
