David Beckham still a superstar as fans surround ex-England hero at Adidas store launch

With camera phones clicking by the thousand, Becks took centre stage at the launch of an Adidas store in the Italian city

Send a soccer superstar Beck to Milan and you can be sure he’ll get a welcome fit for a king.

With camera phones clicking by the thousand, David Beckham took centre stage at the launch of an Adidas store in the Italian fashion capital.

Becks, 42, spent a season with AC Milan towards the end of his career and is still hugely popular. He showed off a new rose tattoo on his neck and posed for selfies .

The ex-Man Utd and England star said on Instagram: “Amazing to be back in Milan after so long, but people and fans … wow, what a welcome.”

He shouldn’t be too surprised. After all, he always was a crowd pleaser.

And it seems another member of the Beckham clan could be set for footie stardom.

Proud dad Dave recently posted a video of him taking daughter Harper for a football lesson to social media.

In the vid, six-year-old Harper exhibits promising skills as she hoofs the ball back to her dad after he repeatedly throws it into the air.

Becks was obviously taken aback by his daughter's talent as he simply captioned the Instagram post "oh my" alongside 12 heart emojis.

Could Harper be a future draft for the women's England squad? Watch this space.
