Kristen Stewart and girlfriend Stella Maxwell couldn't keep their hands off each other on Wednesday night.

The couple were spotted embracing and making out outside a bar in New York after an event at the MoMA.

Eyes only for each other, the duo didn't seem to mind that they were surrounded by pals and passersby as they wrapped their arms around each other.

Stella, who at 5ft 9in, towers over petite Kristen, held the actress' face in her hands as she gazed adoringly at her.

The 27-year-old wrapped her arm around the Twilight star's shoulders and leaned in for a big smooch.

The couple coordinated in leather jackets, with The Victoria's Secret beauty wearing just a bra underneath.

Earlier in the evening Kristen, 27, had unveiled her directorial debut Come Swim at MOMA.

She graced the red carpet, but instead of wearing a dress, the Chanel favorite opted for a leather jacket and Raiders baseball cap.

Perfecting her 'I just threw this on' look the Adventureland star wore a grungy white tee underneath tucked into a pair of rolled up white denim pants.

The original concept for the film came from an image in the mind of Stewart of 'a person sleeping contently on the bottom of the ocean floor and getting such satisfaction from that isolation.'

Josh Kaye was the only actor cast in the short film, while Sydney Lopez provided the voice-over.

It was shown in the 70th Anniversary Events section at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and was part of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Kristen and Stella have been dating since late last year.

Before that the New Zealander model enjoyed a brief romance with Miley Cyrus in 2015.

Kristen was in a relationship with singer St. Vincent last year.
