Kim Kardashian transforms into fashion icon Cher for Harper's Bazaar magazine cover shoot

The reality TV star is a huge fan of the Turn Back Time songstress

Kim Kardashian has made no secret of her love for Cher.

On the music icon's 71st birthday this year, Kim flooded her Instagram with relentless photos of the diva, with whom she shares her Armenian heritage.

Now Kim has gone a step further by dressing up as her idol for her latest magazine shoot.

Appearing on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Arabia , Kim was transformed into a modern day version of the star sporting her signiture white eyeliner, huge lashes and long poker-straight hair.

Explaining her decision to get dressed up as the singing icon Kim said: "She’s always had the sickest style, I’m obsessed with her."

"To think that she was wearing these sheer dresses in the ’70s and just what people must have thought back then," she mused.

Although her own home life appears to be constant make-up sessions and showbiz events, Kim revealed people would be surprised at how normal her life with hubby Kanye West, and their two children North and Saint actually is.

“At the end of the night when the kids go to bed, and before my husband gets home from work, I just love to lay in bed in my robe and watch TV, like Dateline or Family Feud ,” she said.

The reality TV star added: "I feel good when I get up and go to work and am busy all day. That makes me happy. If I just, like, retire I would definitely be more of a stay at home mom, but I want my kids to have a really strong work ethic and see how motivated mom and dad really are.”

Kim also touched on how she balances motherhood with the sexy persona she's become renowned for.

"If doing sexy shoots makes me feel confident, then I’m okay with it. That might not be appropriate for some people, and there’s a time and a place. There’s certain things I’ll show my kids and certain things I won’t show my kids. But generally I am okay with it. In moderation.”

She added: “I don’t think for a second that because you become a mom you can’t be sexy any more.”

After having said in the past that she didn't consider herself a feminist, Kim decided to set the record straight.

She said: "To clarify what I said before: I feel in my soul I’m a feminist. I just don’t need labels to make me feel or know what I am inside.”

Kim, who recently dressed up as Jackie Kennedy for a vintage themed shoot said she hopes to speak out more on political issues in the future.

Kim then kept to her word by dishing her thoughts on current US President Donald Trump.

"Anyone can run the US better. My daughter would be better,” she fired.

"Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic.

“It’s really scary, the world that we’re living in now. And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency you just don’t feel safe any more.”
